Facts
Reagan (defendant) was convicted in federal court on charges of cattle smuggling. Reagan appealed on grounds that his constitutional rights had been violated by the court’s instruction that the jury was entitled to consider Reagan’s personal interest in the outcome of the trial in its assessment of his credibility.
