Facts
Jane Tyrell (defendant), a girl between the age of 13 and 16, engaged in sexual intercourse with Thomas Froud. Froud was found guilty of the misdemeanor of carnal connection (i.e., sexual intercourse). Ms. Tyrell was then charged and convicted as an accomplice to Mr. Froud’s crime due to her aid, solicitation, and incitement in the commission of the crime.
