Facts

Olga Romani (defendant) was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. The trial court admitted statements made by her coconspirators to establish the existence of the conspiracy. Romani was convicted and appealed. The Florida District Court of Appeal affirmed her conviction, and Romani sought review in the Florida Supreme Court.
