Nebraska Supreme Court
207 N.W.2d 686 (1973)
- Written by Sean Carroll, JD
Facts
Three children were killed in a car accident that resulted from the negligence of the defendants. The children’s parents (plaintiffs) brought a wrongful death suit. The trial court awarded damages to the parents for medical and funeral expenses, as well as the value of the contributions and services the parents would have received from the children minus the cost they would have incurred to raise the children. The plaintiffs appealed, seeking additional damages.
