Facts
Someone fatally shot Silas Avery one night through a hole in the wall of his log cabin. Before he died, Silas told Lucinda Wainwright that he knew who shot him. Silas twice said it was Edward Williams (defendant), although he had not seen him. Williams appealed his conviction, arguing the trial court improperly admitted hearsay.
