Facts
The owner of a residence leased the property to the defendant. The lease stated that it would continue for as long as the defendant wished to live in the City of Albert Lea. The plaintiff bought the residence from the owner/original lessor. The plaintiff brought suit, claiming that the defendant’s lease granted the defendant a tenancy at will that the plaintiff could terminate. The trial court ruled in favor of the defendant. The court of appeals affirmed. The plaintiff appealed.
