Facts
The prosecution (plaintiff) charged Rubin/Chambers, Dunhill Insurance Services Inc. and others (defendants) with conspiracy. Prior to trial, the prosecution filed a motion to call cooperating witnesses who had participated in the conspiracy to testify. Specifically, the witnesses were prepared to testify to the contents of recorded conversations in furtherance of the conspiracy, including the meaning of certain codewords used in the conversations.
