Facts
Bill Snow (defendant) was convicted for knowingly possessing an unregistered firearm. The firearm in question was found in a briefcase with red tape on the outside that said, “Bill Snow.” Snow objected to the admission of the red tape as hearsay, and he appealed his conviction on that basis.
