Debarment
Definition
A Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act penalty that prohibits an individual from providing services in any capacity to a person who has an approved or pending drug product application. In the government contracts context, debarment prevents a contractor from receiving any government contracts, typically for a set period of time.
