Definition

The ethical rule that prohibits applicants for bar admission and lawyers in connection with bar-admission applications or disciplinary matters from knowingly making a false statement of material fact, failing to disclose a fact necessary to correct a misapprehension, or knowingly failing to respond to a lawful demand for information from an admissions or disciplinary authority.
