Vexatious Litigation

Definition

Lawsuit that lacks a legal basis, is frivolous, or is unreasonable and that is often intended to harass or annoy another party to the action. The term may also apply to baseless, frivolous, or unreasonable actions taken during a lawsuit, especially if the actions are intended to harass or annoy another party.
