Facts
Hoberman (plaintiff) filed a lawsuit against Lake of Isles (defendant) to foreclose on a mortgage. The trial court entered a judgment in favor of Lake of Isles but subsequently granted Hoberman’s motion for a new trial. Lake of Isles appealed from the trial court’s grant of a new trial.
