Facts
Minnich (plaintiff) was employed as a public safety officer. While working, Minnich was injured by a truck owned by Med-Waste (defendant). Minnich then brought a negligence claim against Med-Waste for his injuries. The district court requested an answer to the certified question of whether the firefighter’s rule barred claims for on-the-job injuries to emergency professionals.
