Facts
The state (plaintiff) charged Bryan Mosley (defendant) with criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Mosley was acquitted of criminal trespass but convicted of resisting arrest and appealed. Mosley was appointed appellate counsel. Counsel challenged the sufficiency of the evidence. The intermediate appellate court affirmed the conviction, adding that the appeal was meritless and that counsel should have filed an Anders brief. Mosley appealed.
