Facts
During World War II, Flesch (defendant) was in charge of a concentration camp. During that time, Flesch ordered the killing of sick Jewish prisoners, Russian prisoners (because of his belief Russians killed their prisoners of war), escaping prisoners, and suspected spies and saboteurs. After the war, Flesch was accused of war crimes.
