Facts
Reynaldo de Jesus Ramos (defendant) was indicted for (1) giving a false name, place, and date of birth in applying for a U.S. passport in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001 and (2) making a false statement with the intent to secure a passport in violation of 18 U.S. § 1542.
