Facts
Valentine (plaintiff) sued General American Credit, Inc. (GAC) (defendant) for allegedly breaching their employment contract. Valentine argued that the contract provided her with a right to job security and the accompanying peace of mind. Valentine sought mental distress damages from GAC. The trial court dismissed Valentine’s claims and the court of appeals affirmed.
