Missouri Court of Appeals
435 S.W.2d 392 (1968)

- Written by Sean Carroll, JD
Facts
Vinyard (plaintiff) slipped and fell in the parking lot of Vinyard Funeral Home (Funeral Home) (defendant). She brought suit and sought to introduce evidence that people had complained to employees of the Funeral Home that the parking lot was slippery when wet. She brought this evidence to prove that the Funeral Home had knowledge of the slippery condition of the parking lot. The trial court admitted the evidence and found in favor of Vinyard. The Funeral Home appealed.
