Facts
Assistant attorney general Huey (defendant) was having a private conversation with another attorney, Crary, in Crary’s office. Wishnatsky (plaintiff), Crary’s paralegal, attempted to enter the office without knocking. Huey pushed the door closed, pushing Wishnatsky out into the hallway. Wishnatsky brought a battery claim against Huey. The trial court dismissed the claim on summary judgment. Wishnatsky appealed.
