11 U.S.C. § 1322(b)(1)


A provision of the Bankruptcy Code allowing a Chapter 13 debtor to designate different classes of unsecured claims so long as the classification does not unfairly discriminate against a class or where the classification is of consumer debt for which an individual nondebtor is jointly liable.
