Trademark Dilution Revision Act of 2006 (TDRA)

Definition

Replacement of the Federal Trademark Dilution Act of 1995 (FTDA) that differs from the FTDA by requiring that the trademark holder show only a likelihood of dilution instead of actual dilution, by reconfiguring the factors used to determine whether a mark is famous, and by eliminating niche fame as a basis for satisfying the fame requirement.
