Facts
Lizabeth Diaz (defendant) rented an apartment from 29 Holding Corporation (plaintiff). The lease was from May 1, 1996, to April 30, 1998. Diaz vacated the apartment in May 1997 and failed to pay the rent owed from May 1997 to April 1998. 29 Holding brought suit, seeking to recover the rent owed by Diaz. The trial court took the matter under advisement.
