Facts
Steven (defendant), a minor, testified that he found marijuana cigarettes at his friend’s house, causing his friend’s father to call the sheriff’s department. A deputy searched Steven and found a cigarette in his pocket. A few days later, the cigarette was confirmed to contain marijuana, and the deputy traveled to Steven’s school to arrest Steven. The deputy began to search Steven before taking him to the station. Steven handed four capsules to the deputy. The capsules contained secobarbital, which was a dangerous drug.
