I. Reading Cases and Casebooks with a Larger Purpose in Mind
A case, or judicial opinion, is a court’s written explanation for how it resolved a specific controversy. From now until graduation, cases will be central to your academic life. You’ll spend most of your study time reading casebooks. A casebook is a collection of...
