Facts
The appellee uncovered a vein of silver on its property. The appellee sought to follow and continue mining the vein beyond the boundary of its property. The vein continued into the soil below the surface of land owned by the appellant. The United States Supreme Court granted certiorari to determine who had a proper claim to the silver.
