Facts
Calvin Moore and Darrell Butler identified Thaddius Brothers (defendant) as the shooter in a murder investigation. At trial, both Moore and Butler testified, and both stated that their prior identifications were false. The prosecution (plaintiff) introduced the prior identifications over Brothers’s objection. The defendant was convicted, and he appealed.
