The Constitution guarantees that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. Although the Constitution’s due-process protections apply to actions taken by administrative agencies, there are significant differences between the due process afforded to a party challenging an adverse action by an administrative agency, and the due process afforded to a party in a civil or criminal trial.
