United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit
323 F.2d 124 (1963)
- Written by Craig Conway, LLM
Facts
Shortly after its formation, the American Football League (AFL) (plaintiff) filed suit against the National Football League (NFL) that the NFL had offered expansion franchises to the cities of Dallas, Texas, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, in order to frustrate the AFL’s plan to move into the two cities and establish franchises of its own. The district court dismissed the suit and the AFL appealed.
