Prepare for the multiple-choice portion

Prepare for the multiple-choice portion

The MBE consists of 200 multiple-choice questions—175 scored questions and 25 unscored, pretest questions. You’ll encounter 100 questions in a 3-hour morning session and 100 questions in a 3-hour afternoon session. Covering each of the 7 MBE subject areas, the questions you’ll face are intended to assess your ability to analyze given fact patterns and apply fundamental legal principles and legal reasoning. It’s no secret that there’s a lot of material to cover to feel adequately prepared. We hired a former editor from the National Conference of Bar Examiners to create guidelines for our question-drafting experts to follow. That way, you can study with confidence knowing that the multiple-choice questions you’re practicing with are as close as possible to real MBE questions.

Learn by practicing with essential quizzes

Throughout the course, you’ll encounter hundreds of single-subject and mixed-subject quizzes. After each video lesson, you’ll reinforce your knowledge and gain mastery of the subject at hand by taking a single-subject quiz. To familiarize you with the format of the MBE and test your understanding of multiple various subjects, we thoughtfully place mixed-subject, MBE-style quizzes throughout your studying. By taking both single-subject and mixed-subject quizzes, you’ll work on improving your overall exam performance, as well as improving your performance in specific subject areas. Each quiz question you answer features a detailed rationale and a key takeaway that’ll help you memorize the main lesson behind the question.
