Strengthening Your Focus
Learn how focus works, why multi-tasking is a menace, and why mental maps make it easier for you to stay in control.
If you’ve been following the advice we gave in the lesson Taking Control of your Time, you’ve:
- categorized everything you’ve been working on and will be working on, according to its urgency or importance;
- removed anything that’s either outside the scope of your assignment, or out of alignment with your goals;
- set deadlines and assessed the time you’ll need to complete everything that’s in front of you;
- made your to-do lists – your master list, your weekly list, and your daily list; and
