Nonconforming Goods

Definition

Goods that do not satisfy the obligations and requirements of a contract for a sale of goods. Under the UCC, a buyer that does not intend to accept the goods must notify the seller of the buyer’s rejection in a timely manner. A buyer who has had an opportunity to inspect the goods and does not give the seller a timely notice of rejection has accepted the goods.
