Definition

Legislation enacted by the United States which bans the import of shrimp and shrimp products that were harvested using methods potentially dangerous to sea turtles unless the exporting nation obtained certification by the U.S. government and implemented conservatory measures similar to the regulatory regime used by the U.S.
