Facts
Kobe Bryant (defendant) entered into an agreement with The Score Board Inc. (plaintiff) when he was 17 years old. Under the contract, The Score Board agreed to pay Bryant $10,000 to sign a minimum of 15,000 autographs. The Score Board also agreed to pay Bryant an additional $2 for each autograph after the first 500. Three days after Bryant turned 18, he deposited the $10,000 check. Bryant also performed his duties under the contract for about a year and a half. Then Bryant stopped performing his duties and asserted that the contract was void because Bryant was a minor when he entered into the agreement. The Score Board sued Bryant.
