Arkansas Supreme Court
220 Ark. 521 (1952)

- Written by Sean Carroll, JD
Facts
Planters Flying Service (PFS) (plaintiff) filed suit in Arkansas against D.M. Barton seeking payment for its crop spraying service. In his answer, Barton alleged that PFS had damaged his cotton crop by spraying it with an adulterated insecticide. He also filed a cross-complaint against the manufacturer of the insecticide, Reasor-Hill Corporation. Reasor-Hill filed a petition seeking a writ of mandamus prohibiting the Arkansas court below from hearing Barton’s cross-claim.
