Genocide Convention


The full name of the Genocide Convention is the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. It is an international Convention enacted in 1948, and requires member parties to prevent, punish, and refrain from committing genocide through their own actions or the actions of organs or persons or groups whose acts are attributable to them.
