Who can take advantage of Quimbee for Groups?
Quimbee for Groups is perfect for: student organizations, study groups, and classmates or friends from the same law school
looking to get unlimited access to the tools they need to ace law school at the best possible price. Group members must all
be a part of the same law school, student organization, or other entity and must share a .edu email domain. If you'd like
to create a Group for members from different law schools or with different email domains, you must first contact us
at [email protected] to request approval.
Law schools that want to subscribe on behalf of their students should contact [email protected] for pricing.
Which plans are available with Quimbee for Groups?
Groups may sign up for Quimbee Gold Yearly for Groups. This plan includes access to all Quimbee’s study aids, as well as access to Quimbee MPRE Review. Please note that we do not currently offer monthly plans for Groups.
What’s included in my Quimbee for Groups subscription?
Every member of your group will get a user account to Quimbee with unlimited, online-only access to Quimbee’s entire suite of study aids. That means that all video lessons, multiple-choice quizzes and exams, essay practice exams, flashcards, outlines, case briefs, and much more will be at your group’s fingertips.
Can I get a free trial?
Absolutely. We offer a 7-day free trial that includes Gold-level access to Quimbee’s content. A free trial is available for the plan manager only. You’ll be able to preview Quimbee’s materials and decide whether a subscription is right for your group. Note that while on the free trial, the plan manager will have access to up to 10 case briefs and unlimited access to all other content included with Quimbee Gold.
Is a credit card required to start my 7-day free trial?
Yes. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept ACH payments at this time.
What happens at the end of my free trial?
At the end of your free trial, your payment method will be charged for the number of seats you selected at sign-up. At that time, you’ll be able to invite your group members to join your plan. Your plan will automatically renew until you cancel. You may cancel anytime by visiting your settings page and clicking the link to “Cancel.” Your group will continue to have access until your subscription terminates at the end of the billing cycle.
I have an existing (inactive/active) individual account. Can I start a group?
We currently don't support starting groups from existing accounts, but you can create a new account using a different email address to create your group.
Who can be a plan manager?
Only the person who created the group can be a plan manager. Everyone else in the group is simply a user.
I'm a plan manager. Can I create more than one group?
No, plan managers may create only one group. If you would like to create an additional group,
you must contact us at [email protected] for prior approval.
What’s the difference between a plan manager and a user?
As plan manager, you’ll administer the group, which means managing billing and payment methods, selecting the group’s subscription plan, and adding or removing users.
A user cannot administer a group. A user only has access to content and features that the plan manager has selected for the group.
How can I change my group’s payment method?
You can change your payment method from your group's account billing page.
Can I add seats after I’ve started my group subscription?
Yes, you can add seats to your plan at any time. We’ll prorate the pricing for the extra seats and charge the payment method on file.
Can I remove seats after I’ve started my group subscription?
Yes, but the change won’t take effect until the next billing cycle. To reduce your group size, please visit your account billing page no more than 30 days before the end of the current billing cycle, and update the number of seats for your group.
During the current billing period, you may, however, remove a user and invite another to fill the seat for the remainder of the billing period.
I removed a user from one of my seats. Can I get a refund for the remainder of the billing period for that seat?
No, if you reduce the number of users in your group, we do not offer refunds for the remainder of any billing period. To remove users from your group, proceed to the People section of your account dashboard.
What happens to my group members and plan manager when my group’s subscription is automatically cancelled because of failed payments, or we choose to cancel our plan?
If, as plan manager, you cancel your group’s plan, you’ll have the option to reactivate the group plan when you next log into your Quimbee account. If your group’s subscription is automatically cancelled because of failed payments, you’ll be prompted to reactivate your group’s subscription and update the payment information on your next login. Please note that when you reactivate your group’s subscription, you’ll need to choose the number of seats to purchase and reinvite all group members.
After the plan is officially terminated, the next time your users log in, they will see an indication that the plan has been cancelled and an option to purchase individual plans.
I’m subscribing on behalf of a law school; can I get usage stats for my students?
Definitely. As a plan manager, you’ll have access to a Group Dashboard. Here, you’ll be able to see your group’s sign-ups and usage, as well as their content usage. This way, you can see in real time just how much value your students are getting from your Quimbee for Groups subscription.
