Anti-Dilution Statutes

Definition

State or federal statutes that allow a trademark owner to prevent others from using a mark that would blur or tarnish the owner’s well-known mark. A claim of dilution differs from a general trademark infringement claim because it does not rest on a finding of customer confusion.
