The next inchoate offense we'll consider is solicitation. Solicitation is where someone deliberately incites another person to commit a crime, whether it's by asking, commanding, hiring, or just plain old encouraging. The crime doesn’t necessarily need to be the defendant's idea. Simply egging on a person who is considering criminal conduct can be enough to demonstrate solicitation.
