In this clip, we’ll finish our examination of 28 U.S.C. § 1391, the general federal venue statute. Most of Venue part 1 dealt with subsection (b), which sets forth the actual rules about venue. However, there is more to the statute than subsection (b). In this clip, we’ll focus on subsections (a), (c), and (d), because those provide crucial information, which we’ll need in order to understand and apply the rules in subsection (b) properly.
