NLRA § 7 guarantees employees the rights:

  • to organize themselves;
  • to form, join, or assist labor organizations;
  • to bargain collectively through their chosen representatives; and
  • “to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection.” 29 U.S.C. § 157.
  • Section 7 also explicitly guarantees employees the right to refrain from any of these activities.
