In this clip, we will discuss Model Rule of Professional Conduct 3.3, entitled “Candor Toward the Tribunal.” We will analyze when a lawyer is obligated to disclose information and when the lawyer can withhold information; how a lawyer should handle a person’s criminal or fraudulent conduct; and how long these obligations are in effect for the lawyer. We’ll conclude by summarizing everything we’ve learned and then take a short quiz to test our understanding of all the concepts.
