In this clip, we will review Model Rule of Professional Conduct 5.1, which imposes ethical obligations in three related contexts: a lawyer supervising another lawyer; a lawyer supervising a non-lawyer; and a subordinate lawyer. In each situation, lawyers must use their best independent judgment to comply with ethical rules.
