Many professional sports teams are no longer located in the cities where the teams were founded as a result of franchise relocation. For example, in 1957, the Brooklyn Dodgers moved across the country to become the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2020, the Oakland Raiders became the Las Vegas Raiders.
